Additionally, the commission approved the draft text and design for interpretive plaques intended for park entrances, incorporating minor grammatical adjustments. The Commission considered and approved a Heritage Tree application from California State Parks to designate a Southern Magnolia as a Heritage Tree, with the recommendation to be forwarded to the City Council for final approval. Additionally, the commission received verbal reports from the Parks Division and the Street Tree Division.
