Sweetwater Union High School District Board Of Trustees Regular Meeting
The meeting included a closed session covering student expulsions, public employee discipline, anticipated litigation, and labor negotiations. Following the closed session, the Board recognized several student achievements, including championship wins for the East Lake High School boys volleyball team, the Eastlake High Girls Beach Volleyball team, and the Otay Ranch High boys tennis team, as well as accomplishments by students and advisors at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. The Superintendent’s report provided updates on district activities, including Compact for Success discussions with San Diego State University, community engagement events, school security and instructional program meetings, and the completion of facility improvements at Mar Vista Academy.
