The meeting focused on discussion items related to Rule CKA, CKA-R-1, and CKA-R-2, with the Board planning to review and revise after a 45-day public comment period. The Notice of Proposed Rule Making was approved, and the Chair was authorized to approve the notice after final edits.

The Board reviewed the past year's board goals, the District Strategic Plan, and how the Board will review the District Strategic Plan in the future. They set new goals for the 2025-26 school year.

The Park County School District 6 Board of Education convened for a special meeting. The agenda was approved, and the Board moved into an executive session to discuss personnel matters. Following the executive session, the Board approved the minutes from the session. The meeting was then adjourned.

The board meeting included a budget update, discussion on district goals for the 2024/2025 school year, and updates on various projects such as the installation of stadium lights and track resurfacing. The board also discussed handbooks for the 2025/2026 school year and approved certified employment, transfers, resignations/terminations/retirements. Additionally, appointments were made to the Shoshone Recreation District Board, and the 2025/2026 Shoshone Recreation District Budget was approved. Policies related to sex-designated facilities, nondiscrimination, equal educational opportunities, student attendance, reimbursement for travel expenses, and certified staff leave were also addressed.
