The meeting included an update on the status of funding for a new hospital facility. The Board approved changes to the Medical Staff Bylaws regarding the frequency of Medical Records Committee meetings, discussed delegation of fiscal voting positions, and reviewed tentative meeting dates for the upcoming year. The Safety and Risk Management Director confirmed the completion of an emergency preparedness exercise and progress on facility security installations. The Chairperson reported on DHHS legislative initiatives regarding long-term locked residential facilities and funding for inpatient capacity expansion across multiple state health facilities.
