The Council discussed the timeline and community engagement strategies for a parks master plan, specifically emphasizing the desire to expedite the process and avoid unnecessary delays. The Council also reviewed a proposed resolution concerning potential amendments to the city charter, including adjustments to mayoral term limits, the impact of appointed office time on term limit calculations, and the potential adoption of single-member voting districts to improve representation balance.
