Commissioners' Court Regular Meeting
The Commissioners' Court addressed several agenda items, including approval of a resolution and interlocal cooperation agreement for FEWS services through the Concho Valley Council of Governments, and a master agreement for engineering services. The court extended the local disaster declaration regarding the New World Screwworm, accepted a monitor donation for the tax office, and invalidated/approved a revised contract with Coke County ESD #1 for emergency medical services. Additional actions included approving salaries for elected officials, setting deadlines for salary grievances, appointing a tax rate calculator for the fiscal year, and accepting a donation for the Sheriff's office. The court also approved the sick leave pool balance, the establishment of a county Facebook page with specific usage limitations, and a revised purchasing and procurement policy. Furthermore, the court authorized participation in an artificial intelligence training program, conducted budget amendments, and discussed property issues and safety equipment.
