This Groundwater Management Plan outlines the strategies for the Coke County Underground Water Conservation District. Its overall purpose is to provide for the conservation, preservation, protection, recharge, and prevention of waste and pollution of groundwater supplies, promoting efficient and beneficial use for the district's citizens and economy. Key focus areas include gathering hydrogeologic data, monitoring well drilling and spacing, addressing natural resource issues, monitoring drought conditions, promoting conservation and precipitation enhancement, and achieving desired future conditions for groundwater resources. The plan emphasizes local control, protection of landowner rights, and regional cooperation.

The Board had a discussion regarding revisions of the Rules and Regulations as well as proposed revisions from the Texas Water Development Board to the Management Plan. The CCUWCD Management Plan will be effective Jan 2025-2029. The possibility of Telicon Legislative services was presented, and the board decided not to subscribe to these services. The board discussed the possible renewal of annual membership renewal to the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts (TAGD) and approved the annual membership and payment of the yearly cost.

The meeting included a public hearing on proposed revisions to the Coke County Underground Water Conservation District Rules and Management Plan, with discussions on revisions from the Texas Water Development Board. The board reviewed and approved the payment of bills, the TML Insurance annual coverage policy, and the renewal of the agreement with WTRGA Interlocal Agreement. The Manager's Report covered topics such as the absence of new Intent to Drill requests, the provision of mineral and bacteria tests to county residents, and the receipt of a management plan pre-review.
