Oxford Academy and Central School Board of Education Regular Meeting
The board discussed and approved the creation of an Alternative Education Program and a new teacher aide position to address student credit recovery needs. Updates were provided on capital projects, including window replacements and playground completions, as well as the success of various summer programs. The board approved several policy documents for the 2026-2027 school year, including the Code of Conduct, District Safety Plan, Athletic Handbook, and Professional Learning Plan. Financial actions included the approval of project allowances, a lease agreement with BOCES, budget transfers for the cafeteria fund, and allocations to reserve funds. Personnel actions were also taken, including the acceptance of resignations, various coaching and staff appointments for the upcoming school year, and the creation of a new counselor/social worker position.
