The Board discussed various topics including a presentation from the Mayor's Golf Outing Committee, a request for a stop sign, and a report from the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce. Proclamations were made for Italian American Heritage Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Library's National Landmark designation was also presented. Approvals were granted for the Fire Department to use a bus for a fundraiser, Temple Am Echad to host a Halloween parade, and the Davison Avenue School for a Halloween parade. The Police Department's request for "No Shave November" was approved, as was Mended Hearts of L.I.'s request to use Greis Park for a walk. An Art Show at the Recreation Center was approved, and temporary parking was granted for Coachlight residents. Public Hearings were held regarding prohibited uses and sidewalk assessments. Bids were authorized for Greis Park Gates and a Bucket Truck, and bids were awarded for road requirements and the Village Hall Boiler. A transfer of funds was approved for the boiler replacement, and authorization was granted for Fire HQ/Training Facility improvements. A grant was authorized for pool improvements, and a Police Communications Operator was appointed. The 2026 Holiday Schedule and Board Meeting Dates were approved, and personnel matters for the Recreation Department and Building Department were addressed. A winter laborer was approved for the DPW. Bills were approved for payment, and discussions were held regarding pool fees, recreation staff wages, a claim on Devine St., the sign code, parking expansion, and traffic regulations.

The Board of Trustees held a meeting to discuss various village matters. The Chamber of Commerce provided a report on upcoming events, and the Lynbrook/East Rockaway Girls Soccer Team was recognized for their championship. The board approved a request from the Lynbrook Engine Company #1 to place a recruitment sign and granted permission for Hose Company #1 to use the Fire Department Bus for their annual dinner. They also renewed approval for the South Shore Eruv Corp to establish Eruv boundaries and approved a request from Boomi Hungry Heroes to host an event at Greis Park. A public hearing was set for a proposed local law regarding the tax cap, and the 2025/2026 Tentative Budget Hearing date was set. The board approved Patriots Weekend festivities and amended a tax certiorari settlement schedule. They approved staffing actions, including rehiring a Neighborhood Aide, hiring a School Crossing Guard, and approving seasonal employees for the Recreation Department. An FMLA leave for the Court Clerk was approved, and the settlement of a claim against State Farm was authorized. The board also discussed recreation merchandise, sponsorship for the Turf Field, signage, temporary work at 47 Broadway, and the hiring of a Court Clerk. The board discussed impound storage and reviewed the 25/26 Tentative Budget. The Mayor reported on the election of Richard Fasano as Village Justice and the appointment of William McLaughlin as Associate Justice and approved to reimburse Associate Justice McLaughlin travel expenses.

Permissions were granted for Malverne and Lynbrook High School Homecoming Parades, as well as the annual Trunk or Treat event. The board approved a request from Daikin Comfort to waive parking restrictions for customers attending training. Agreements were authorized for the Recreation Department's Dance Recital, a photographer for Recreation picture day, and emergency notification services with ReGroup. Additionally, the board discussed soccer field turf installation, a Lynbrook TV technician contract, disposition of Police Department records, a JCAP Grant application for the Village Court, budget transfers, and seasonal personnel for the DPW. Other topics included staffing for the Police Department and school crossing guards, temporary banners for Lynbrook Little League, recreation program fees, a temporary ice rink, AED requirements for park organizations, a proposed local law regarding exterior basement entrances, temporary signs, personnel appointments, authorization for overtime for the Building Plumbing Inspector, requesting a Civil Service list for Police Officers, termination of a DPW Laborer, and appointment of a Hearing Officer.

They accepted a donation of AED devices from the Lynbrook East Rockaway Soccer Club and proclaimed September as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Approvals were granted for a block party, a senior citizen club trip, and the Malverne Education & Fitness Foundation's annual 5K run. The board also approved the installation of a bulletin board at Greis Park, a maintenance agreement with Stryker, insurance renewals, and the purchase of desktop computers. Grant applications were ratified, and new recreation staff were hired. Additionally, the board approved a severance payout, reviewed bills, authorized a contract with Shabana Patel for hobby classes, approved leave time donation, approved Titans Football carnival, approved purchase of SDK software, approved conducting the 2025 Oktoberfest event and requested sample policies on placement of AED's in Parks. Lawrence Bien was rehired as Deputy Superintendent of Public Works.

They also certified unpaid taxes, set a date for a tax lien sale, and discussed grant applications for a pool shade structure and police department document scanning. The board authorized a severance payout, approved a police impound vehicle for detective division use, and discussed staffing for the Fire Department and Lynbrook TV. They also covered recreation publicity, appointed election inspectors, and addressed FMLA guidelines.
