The Supervisors reviewed and processed new voter applications and change requests. Additionally, they reviewed notices from the state voter registration database to remove or update voter records and processed mailings for voters listed on the annual verification report for potential removal.

The Supervisors of the Checklist convened to process various voter registration tasks. Key activities included reviewing and entering new voter applications, processing notices from the New Hampshire voter registration database and the Department of Vital Records to update or remove records, and reviewing the 2026 Annual Verification Report to identify voters for removal pursuant to state law. All changes and removals were finalized by a majority vote of the Supervisors.

The meeting included a review of the treasurer's report regarding the year-to-date revenue and expenses for the Recreation Revolving Fund. Updates were provided by the Parks and Recreation Director covering various topics such as senior programming, soccer board recruitment, and ongoing trail and park projects. Specific issues discussed included park maintenance and improvements at Stratham Hill Park and Stevens Park, the status of summer camps and programs, and the recruitment of a teen coordinator. Additionally, the committee discussed a request from the EHS Fall MTB Club to utilize the town van for transportation.

The meeting centered on the cy pres process and statutory requirements for transferring Cemetery Perpetual Care (CPC) funds to the Cemetery Expendable Maintenance Trust Fund (CEMTF) to offset municipal financial responsibilities. Participants discussed the data necessary to support a successful petition, including historical and projected maintenance costs and plot sales data. The group clarified the appropriate use of CPC funds, noting they are intended for plot-specific maintenance such as mowing and gravestone repair, rather than large-scale cemetery-wide improvements. Finally, the committee outlined next steps, including counting lots sold since November 2023, confirming historical expenditures, and projecting future costs and returns before engaging Town Counsel.

The Select Board meeting covered a variety of municipal items, including financial report reviews and Fire Department updates concerning staffing calls, equipment maintenance, and the Plaistow ALS Intercept program funding. Public hearings were held regarding proposed ordinance updates for e-bikes in Stratham Hill Park and animal control regulations. The Board also approved funding for tree removal at Smyk Park and a culvert repair on Union Road. Additionally, the Board accepted a Highway Safety Grant, discussed town water restriction levels due to drought conditions, and addressed various event permit requests.
