Key capital purchases approved included upgrading security cameras across the Paoli Library, Police Department facilities, and Township Building for $42,379; a software solution for the Sewer Department for $28,000; digitization of files (Phase 2) up to $50,000; four new Police Department vehicles costing $212,473 plus $77,527 in estimated upfits; one Police Department utility vehicle for $34,071.02 plus $6,000 estimated upfit; and a Police Department drone system for $13,500 plus $3,500 in accessories. Additionally, a change order of $12,745 was authorized for Wilson Farm Park Upgrades. The Board also approved converting the heating system at 1485 Valley Forge Road from oil to gas for $133,000, authorizing staff to issue an RFP for electric vehicle planning, approving reallocation of Bike Park Grant Funding to the Chase Road Park Project, and approving agreements related to sewer capacity sale and the Chester County Bridge acquisition. New matters included resident feedback concerning the Picket Post/Chase Road project, support for Earned Income Tax implementation, and concerns raised by residents regarding stormwater management and infiltration facilities for a development project at 317 Greene Street.
