Rust College Commencement
The event was the 2022 Commencement ceremony for Rust College. A significant portion of the event involved honoring alumni from the golden (1971, 1972) and silver (1996, 1997) classes, recognizing them on the grand lawn to replicate the pomp and circumstance of their original commencement exercises. The ceremony included presentations by the associate vice president for institutional advancement regarding donor relations, corporate/foundation relations, government relations, and alumni relations. Deans presented candidates from various divisions, including Science and Mathematics, Business, Social Science, Education, and Humanities, to receive their baccalaureate or associate's degrees. The event concluded with the president formally conferring the degrees and an induction ceremony administered by the president of the Rust College International Alumni Association for the class of 2022.
