The Board conducted a public meeting for the Northbridge Senior Center Site Plan Review, voting to approve the project with conditions. The Board also continued a public hearing regarding the Fox Hollow Definitive Subdivision. Additional business included voting to engage consulting services for a site plan review at 95 Church Street, tabling items related to Camelot and Stone Hill developments, reviewing the Town Meeting Warrant, and coordinating future meetings with developers regarding construction schedules.

The meeting addressed several administrative and procedural matters. The Commission approved a change to the standard meeting start time from 6:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Substantial discussion occurred regarding the distribution and deadlines for a community survey, with a deadline established for June 7th. The Commission reviewed methods for disseminating the survey, including online platforms, school distributions, and placing physical copies at the senior center and library. Additionally, the members debated the necessity of a minimum sample size and planned to set up an informational table at the upcoming town meeting.

The meeting focused on the Master Plan Update, specifically discussing the Economic Development Chapter and the Land Use Chapter. Key topics included drafting goals for future growth, evaluating housing strategies such as affordable housing and density, addressing the needs of seniors, and reviewing starter home initiatives. The committee also discussed the coordination of various chapters and the process for the potential endorsement or acceptance of the plan updates.

Additionally, a continued public hearing was held concerning a proposed residential subdivision on Fowler Road and Tessier Lane, involving discussions on infrastructure, wetland impact mitigation, waiver requests, and site design; the hearing was subsequently continued to a future date.
