Salt Lake City Council Work Session
The City Council conducted work session briefings regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 budgets for the Department of Economic Development, Information Management Services, and the Human Resources Department. The Council reviewed Budget Amendment No. 5 for Fiscal Year 2025-26, covering adjustments for public safety staffing and equipment, workers compensation premiums, library and community reinvestment agency pass-through funding, and various capital improvement projects. Additionally, the Council interviewed a candidate for the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City and held an executive session to discuss litigation and attorney-client matters.
