Additionally, the committee reviewed ongoing enforcement and compliance monitoring for a local property following a reported brawl and discussed status updates for multiple properties involved in zoning appeals and land use compliance.

The Commission discussed proposed amendments to the Bylaws regarding mediation terminology and reviewed the appeal timeline for Notices of Decision. Deliberations included revising the Notice of Complaint to include language regarding dismissals for failure to appear at hearings. A stipulated order between tenants and a landlord was formally accepted. The Commission held hearings regarding compliance with previous orders in a landlord-tenant dispute, ultimately finding compliance. Additionally, a complaint was withdrawn by a tenant, and another complaint was dismissed due to the tenant's failure to attend the hearing. An executive session was conducted prior to adjournment.

The committee reviewed occupancy issues and discussed coordination efforts with the Middletown Housing Authority, planning for direct outreach to the Authority Board and the mayor. Building maintenance concerns were addressed, specifically regarding damage to the dumpster fence caused by snow removal equipment. The status of the Capital Needs Assessment was discussed, with plans for a follow-up, and the committee acknowledged an upcoming toiletry collection drive for tenants organized by St. Sabastian.
