The council received liaison reports regarding capital bonding, ambulance lease agreements, library strategic planning results, and town budget and capital planning. Updates were provided on the Juneteenth Celebration, including a review of event logistics. New business included a discussion on establishing a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to serve as a fiscal agent for future Juneteenth celebrations.
