The National Elephant Action Plan for Nigeria is a 10-year government strategy (2024-2034) aimed at securing and restoring elephant populations across the country. It outlines key objectives including reducing illegal killing and trade of elephants, maintaining and restoring their habitat, mitigating human-elephant conflict, increasing public awareness, improving scientific understanding of populations, strengthening transboundary conservation, and fostering cooperation with local communities. The plan's vision is for elephants to thrive in well-managed ecosystems, coexist with human populations, and contribute to sustainable development as a source of pride for Nigeria.

The Yasuní Landscape Program is dedicated to ensuring the long-term conservation of the Yasuní territory, a unique sanctuary of biodiversity and cultural legacy. The program is structured around four strategic pillars: improving effective landscape management centered on Yasuní National Park, strengthening participatory governance of the territory and its natural resources, guaranteeing the livelihoods of indigenous peoples and communities, and enhancing the infrastructure and management capacities of Yasuní National Park. Through these efforts, supported by partners like the Legacy Landscapes Fund and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the program aims to protect biodiversity and environmental services for future generations, fostering a sustainable future.
