The meeting was held to conduct candidate interviews for a vacant seat on the Region 2 Board of Directors. Two candidates participated in the interview process, each responding to the same set of five questions regarding their interest in serving on the board, their understanding of board responsibilities, their skills and experience, potential challenges in the role, and their perspectives on the current challenges facing public education. The Board planned to consider a nomination for the vacancy at a subsequent committee of the whole meeting.
