The Commission conducted a public hearing for a comprehensive land plan proposal and reviewed petitions for special use permits for commercial solar energy facilities, including discussions on variances, site layouts, grid interconnection, decommissioning bonds, and environmental impact assessments. Additionally, the Commission approved amendments to its bylaws regarding officer positions and addressed departmental updates.

The meeting included the presentation of claims for approval and committee reports from the Finance and Operations chairs. Finance Chair noted low claims for the second check run in April, while the Operations Chair discussed the status of preserve equipment and the transition of agenda items to a Committee of the Whole meeting.
