This Comprehensive Plan for Turner County and the Cities of Ashburn, Rebecca, and Sycamore provides a roadmap for future development and is prepared in accordance with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs' Minimum Standards and Procedures for Local Comprehensive Planning. The plan establishes guiding principles and strategies across ten key areas: Cultural Resources, Economic Development, Housing, Natural Resources, Land Use, Community Facilities and Services, Intergovernmental Coordination, Health, Broadband, and Transportation. It outlines needs, policies, opportunities, and work programs designed to promote community well-being, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
