Fire And Police Commission Minutes
The Fire and Police Commission conducted its meeting with the primary agenda item being the election of officers, where Commissioners Hanson, Penker, and Meek were elected as President, Vice Chairperson, and Secretary, respectively. Staff updates included reports on an $800,000 grant for the Wildwood Plaza building project, progress on the Training Center Master Plan, and the status of grant applications for a comprehensive risk assessment. The Commission approved promotional processes for the Detective Sergeant position in the police department and various positions in the fire department, including Engineer, Lieutenant, and Deputy Chief roles.
