The board convened for a special meeting primarily to conduct executive sessions. These sessions were held to evaluate the Superintendent's performance and to receive legal advice regarding board oversight of the Superintendent's performance. The agenda was formally approved at the beginning of the meeting.

The committee meeting included a Board of Education liaison update and a dedicated session where members broke into feeder strand groups to conduct a review of district resource priorities for the 2026-2027 school year. The discussion focused on addressing learning gaps, technology needs, and social-emotional learning, with plans for the Budget Subcommittee to aggregate the collected data into a draft report for future review.

The Board of Education conducted a study session to review and discuss Administrative Policy ACA.
