The agenda included a public hearing regarding federal Impact Aid, interviews for a vacant board seat, and the appointment of a new board member. Reports were given by student board members, PATU, CSEA, and the principals of Arena Elementary and Point Arena High School. Discussions covered PAHS WASC, student achievement, chronic absenteeism, ADA, suspensions/expulsions, and staff appreciation. The board considered setting the date for the Annual Reorganizational Meeting and approved the consent agenda, which included minutes, financial reports, student body reports, copier maintenance, contract addendum, and policy recommendations. Additionally, a letter from MCOE regarding instructional materials was reviewed.
