The Board reviewed the office budget, signed invoices, and discussed correspondence regarding property liens, affidavits, and agricultural land use valuations. Warrants were authorized for motor vehicle excise tax and solar payments. The meeting included discussions on the status of the overlay account, the potential impacts of state-wide rent control legislation, and the Community Preservation Act surcharge. During the executive session, the Board reviewed and acted upon motor vehicle and trailer abatement applications and examined the final report of exemptions granted for the fiscal year.

The board meeting covered the Building Inspector's progress reports on local construction projects. It included approvals for Nonsub Plans 26-01 and 26-02, as well as a review of a draft decision for the 651 Main Street Solar project. The commission reviewed a Notice of Intent regarding a single-family dwelling and wetland restoration at 792 Tinkham Road, confirming plans for vegetation and erosion control. Change requests for an Order of Conditions at 975 Stony Hill Road regarding the use of alternative permanent markers were also evaluated. Additionally, the commission sought volunteers for the Community Preservation Committee and the Open Space Committee. The session concluded with a discussion regarding site access and the ongoing status of the Red Bridge hydro dam.

The committee discussed several potential scenarios regarding the utilization of town municipal buildings, including the Memorial complex, the Old WPD, and the Red School House. Planning for an upcoming cross-committee workshop was addressed, specifically regarding presentation guidelines, speaker assignments, and session logistics. The committee also reviewed results from the community pulse survey and discussed a Community Preservation Act application concerning a boiler replacement at the Memorial building.

The committee discussed potential development partnerships for the Memorial property, including interest from Mass Dev Corp. A workshop was held to evaluate three potential scenarios for the property: a municipal complex, a community center, or a mixed-use development. Additionally, members addressed concerns regarding the committee's future direction and requested financial information concerning the current leases and income derived from the CCW and the Athenaeum.
