The Brevard Public Schools 2025-2030 Strategic Plan is a five-year roadmap designed to empower every student to achieve their full potential. It focuses on four principal pillars: Academic Excellence, Exceptional Workforce, Community Connection, and Operational Efficiency. Key benchmarks include 3rd Grade Literacy, Algebra I Success, College and Career Acceleration, and Graduation Rate. The plan aims to deliver the highest quality education, foster lifelong learning, and ensure students are prepared for success in college, career, and life, ultimately building a stronger and more resilient district.

The meeting featured a presentation from various robotics teams regarding their ongoing activities, community outreach, and participation in regional and world championships. Key discussion points included the need for consistent school recognition of robotics as a club, the appointment of dedicated robotics coaches to provide facility access, the inclusion of robotics in graduation recognition with cords, and strategies to reduce transportation costs for traveling to competitions, such as the potential use of surplus school buses.

The work session focused on updates to the educational plant survey and the five-year work program. Key discussions included the identification of facility usage changes for several schools, including plans for Cape View Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Clear Lake Education Center, and South Pine Grove. Additionally, the Board reviewed progress and funding for major capital capacity projects such as the new day school and various classroom additions.
