Board of Trustees Community College District VIII Regular Meeting
The Board of Trustees meeting included a study session to discuss strategic planning at Bellevue College and the state of the sector. The business session featured a program spotlight on Criminal Justice and Psychology, constituent reports, and a first read of the revision of Policy 2050/WAC 132H-126: Student Conduct Code and the creation of Policy 1447: Sex Discrimination. Action was taken on the revision of Policy 2020: Electronic Communication with Students. Quarterly reports were presented on Achieving the Dream. Reports were given on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the President's report, and the Board report. The Board convened in executive session to review the performance of a public employee and to discuss potential litigation.
