The Rent Leveling Board is scheduled to hold a regular meeting where hearings will take place concerning multiple matters. These matters include a Tenant Complaint, Diminishment of Services, Rent Review, and Non-Compliance cases involving various properties and landlords/tenants within the Township of Weehawken. Action may be taken on these listed items and any other matters properly brought before the Board.

The municipal budget for the fiscal year 2025 includes general appropriations within and excluded from "CAPS", a reserve for uncollected taxes, and building aid allowance. It details anticipated revenues from various sources such as surplus, miscellaneous local revenues, state aid, uniform construction code fees, shared service agreements, public and private revenues, and other special items. The budget also covers expenditures for general government functions, public safety, public works, senior citizens, health, welfare, recreation, engineering, planning, insurance, utilities, and deferred charges.

The budget includes revenues from the Solid Waste Collection District, covering operating surplus and the amount to be raised by taxation. The council discussed the possible adoption of the State Fiscal Year Budget 2025. An ordinance conditionally rescinding Ordinance #16-2023 concerning a request for amendment and extension of a financial agreement between the Township of Weehawken and Park View East Associates was carried for adoption at the next regular meeting. The council adopted a resolution for tax refunds and another for tax sale certificates. They also awarded a bid for the purchase of two new ADA Compliant COMMUNITY SHUTTLE BUSES to Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc. A contract for park and playground improvements at Louisa Park was awarded to Adamo Brothers Construction. The council also passed a resolution designating Kearny Bank as a depository bank for certain funds of the Township of Weehawken and designated authorized Township officials to sign necessary banking documents. Additionally, an ordinance amending Ordinance #1-1989, Chapter 23 (Zoning), Section 23-5.2 (One Family Residence Zone) of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of Weehawken, 1987, in order to limit the square footage of one-family dwellings developed per lot was adopted.
