The committee reviewed and approved several resolutions concerning human services and public health, including contracts and amendments for emergency shelter and tenancy supports for individuals experiencing homelessness, and housing services for American Indians with severe substance use disorders. The committee also accepted the 2025 Special Gift Fund Annual Report and authorized an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Human Services to receive federal funding for the administration of non-emergency medical transportation.

The committee reviewed the 2026 budget update for April and approved several agenda items including the submission of the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan and a substantial amendment to the 2021 HUD Annual Action Plan. Additionally, approvals were granted for amendments to agreements with Tasks Unlimited Lodges, Microsoft volume licensing, and purchasing of Microsoft products and services. The committee also authorized the County Assessor to evaluate the impact of conservation easements on property values, directed the exploration of a Metro County Public Impact Summit, and initiated a search for a consultant to assist with recruiting for the Hennepin Healthcare System board and finalizing long-term capital planning for county-owned real estate.

The committee discussed and approved two new business items. These included an amendment to an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Human Services regarding Ryan White Program Part B HIV/AIDS services, which extended the end date and increased funding. Additionally, the committee approved an amendment to an agreement with Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC, increasing the not-to-exceed amount for the provision of evidence-based clinical criteria services.

The Committee approved several new business items including an architectural history survey agreement for CSAH 5, a bridge replacement grant agreement for CSAH 1 in Eden Prairie, an extension for the Blue Line Extension Project agreement, an organics drop-off grant agreement with the City of Eden Prairie, and various aquatic invasive species prevention project agreements.

The committee approved a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Minneapolis to provide victim advocacy services within the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, Domestic Abuse Service Center. Additionally, the committee authorized an amendment to an agreement with Steps for Change LLC to provide residential sexual health treatment services for Community Corrections clients, which included an extension of the contract end date and an increase to the not-to-exceed total funding amount.
