The committee reviewed and approved several resolutions concerning human services and public health, including contracts and amendments for emergency shelter and tenancy supports for individuals experiencing homelessness, and housing services for American Indians with severe substance use disorders. The committee approved a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Minneapolis to provide victim advocacy services within the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, Domestic Abuse Service Center. Additionally, the committee authorized an amendment to an agreement with Steps for Change LLC to provide residential sexual health treatment services for Community Corrections clients, which included an extension of the contract end date and an increase to the not-to-exceed total funding amount.
