Passaic County Strategic Plan 2026-2028
Passaic County has launched a three-year strategic plan to overhaul its emergency food system, transitioning from a fragmented network to a unified, data-driven system. This plan, developed in partnership with the Emergency Food Provider Coalition, focuses on six interconnected pillars: standardized metrics, coalition building, best practices guidance, technical assistance, a food resource map, and formal engagement of individuals with lived experience of food insecurity. The overall objective is to reduce food insecurity, enhance service delivery, and establish a more resilient and coordinated food access system for county residents.
