BoardHarlingen Consolidated Independent School District Regular Board Meeting
The Board recognized students for their achievements in chess, athletics, and UIL competitions. Committee reports were presented covering Transforming Teaching and Learning, Finances and Planning, and Facilities and Safety. The Board approved memoranda of understanding with the Children's Advocacy Center and the Texas A&M Chapter of Advise TX. Additionally, the Board authorized budget amendments, monthly financials, monthly tax collections, contract awards, and the quarterly investment report. Following an executive session, the Board approved the employment of various teachers, professional staff, and the principal at Dishman Elementary.
