Town Of Spencer Board Of Assessors Minutes Of Meeting
The Board of Assessors reviewed and approved numerous abatement applications for motor vehicle and real estate taxes, along with various warrant commitments. They discussed a pending ATB appeal regarding Vista Lane Apartments LLC and approved a penalty tax certificate for a Chapter 61A property. A presentation on addressing was conducted, and the Board entered into an executive session to review applications for statutory exemptions and exempt property returns for charitable purposes. Furthermore, the Board approved a wide range of veteran, elderly, and blind exemption applications for the upcoming fiscal year, as well as several applications for exempt property status.
