Morris College Quality Enhancement Plan
Morris College's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), named "IMPACT," focuses on improving student success through enhanced preparation, acceleration, completion, and training. The plan aims to provide students with additional support to persist in college and achieve graduation, specifically targeting the freshman class with strategic co-remediation and intrusive academic coaching. Key initiatives include co-requisite learning support and academic coaching, with intended outcomes such as increasing post-Accuplacer scores for co-requisite students, achieving higher pass rates in co-requisite college-level courses, reducing the percentage of first-year students not making Satisfactory Academic Progress, and increasing the fall-to-fall retention rate of first-year students. The overall goal is to strengthen student progression to degree completion and overall student success within a supportive academic environment.
