The Conservation Commission meeting covered three primary agenda items. First, a revised plan request was approved for the installation of a rinse station at 52 Wilin Road. Finally, the commission discussed a proposed bulkhead and stairs reconstruction at 166 and 172 Blue Rock Land, focusing on technical concerns regarding bulkhead height, coastal bank erosion, environmental performance standards, and peer review recommendations for site stabilization.

The committee held a meeting to review several applications, including a request to replace front siding on a residence, which was approved with a preference for pearl gray. A request to construct a detached garage and stone retaining wall at another property was also approved. The committee discussed and denied an application for existing and proposed vinyl fencing due to historic district regulations prohibiting vinyl materials. Lastly, the committee considered an application for the installation of solar panels on a roof.

The meeting included a presentation for a proposed student trip to Italy, focusing on Rome, Naples, and Pompei, which was subsequently approved by the committee. Additionally, the committee heard a proposal regarding a high school student trip to Japan, highlighting previous successful travel programs and the educational value of global citizenship and cultural immersion.

The meeting included the annual reorganization of the School Committee, where a new Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary were nominated and elected.
