The Vidalia City Board of Education announced a proposed property tax increase for City of Vidalia citizens, which will require an increase in property taxes by 1.25 percent for Vidalia / Toombs residents and an increase in property taxes by 1.6 percent for Vidalia /Montgomery residents. Concerned citizens are invited to the public hearings on this tax increase.
