Key areas of focus include creating a safe and supportive environment, promoting active and engaged learning, building essential skills, fostering youth voice and leadership, encouraging healthy choices and behaviors, and ensuring diversity, access, and equity. The plan emphasizes collaborative partnerships with community organizations and continuous quality improvement to enhance program effectiveness and student outcomes.

The School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for San Rafael High School focuses on increasing college and career readiness, providing robust professional development for staff, increasing outreach to LatinX students and families, and enhancing student connectedness through a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). Key strategies include implementing language strategies, incentivizing attendance at supplemental tutoring, supporting English learners through targeted coaching, and refining systems for student wellness and support. The plan aims to improve academic outcomes, particularly for English learners and socioeconomically disadvantaged students, and increase student and family engagement in school activities.
