Leander ISD Board of Trustees Meeting
The meeting included a cultural performance from Baghdad Elementary students and presentations from the Superintendent Student Advisory Council. The student council shared research and recommendations on five key areas: AI and digital safety, life skills, mental health, academic inclusivity, and budget. The AI and digital safety group discussed the need for structured education and updated policies regarding generative AI use. The life skills group proposed integrating soft skills like communication, financial literacy, and organization into the curriculum.
