The meeting included a public forum where a representative from Family Promise of Scotland County discussed their readiness to move forward with a site at Church in the Pines Laurel Hill North Carolina. They requested the release of funds authorized by the County Commissioners in 2022 to support the hiring of an executive director and upgrading shower facilities. The board also discussed water district reports and revenues.
