The board conducted a closed session regarding anticipated and existing litigation, student discipline, labor negotiations, and personnel appointments. Staff provided a midyear update on Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals, focusing on high-quality learning environments and student engagement metrics, including graduation rates, attendance, and suspension/expulsion data. The meeting also included student and employee representative reports, updates on science fairs and AVID award ceremonies, and public comments concerning school programs and athletics.
