The University of Toledo Board of Trustees Academic and Student Affairs Committee Committee Meeting Minutes
The committee reviewed stakeholder reports from the Student Government, Graduate Student Association, Graduate Council, and Faculty Senate. Several resolutions were approved and forwarded to the consent agenda of the Board of Trustees, including the appointment of Distinguished University Professors and Lecturers, the awarding of an honorary degree, the approval of tenure for a new faculty member, and the selection of sabbatical leave applicants. Additionally, the committee adopted a new curricular approval process and approved the addition of several new degree programs, including an Accelerated BA in Professional Studies, an Accelerated BS in Public Health, a BA in Constitutional Studies, and an MS in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
