Central Point School District 6 Board Of Directors Regular School Board Session
The Board session included a site showcase for Central Point Elementary, highlighting student academic goals, literacy and math performance data, and parent survey results. The Superintendent provided a financial report outlining the current fund balance and expenditure trends. The Board accepted the audit report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, and passed an emergency declaration for repairs to Crater High School following a flooding incident. Other actions included approval of a supplemental transportation plan, out-of-state travel for the athletic department, and the hiring of a new Director of Education and a foreign language teacher. Additionally, the Board approved the Southern Oregon ESD local service plan and reviewed the district's open enrollment policy.
