Board of County Commissioners of Ouray County Regular Meeting Minutes
The Board of County Commissioners met to address several agenda items including public comments regarding prairie dog mitigation at the Top of the Pines. The Board approved various consent agenda items, such as expenditures, the designation of an official representative to the County Health Pool, and several Memorandums of Understanding for confidential data control. Further business included the adoption of the 2026 Noxious Weed Management Plan, an intergovernmental agreement with the Ouray Public Library District for emergency facilities, and an update on a coroner's case. The Board also convened as the Board of Health to discuss public health funding and an MOU with the Telluride Foundation, as well as the Board of Human Services to review financial reports and discuss federal funding concerns and regional hub transitions. Finally, the Board convened as the Local Liquor Licensing Authority to approve license renewals and discussed and adopted a regional Housing Needs Assessment.
