Key topics included a detailed overview of the events where an anonymous report of a student with a weapon prompted a lockdown, and an explanation of the police response, which identified the sounds as a backfiring vehicle exhaust. School officials discussed the rationale behind the level three lockdown decision and provided information on updated policies regarding student safety protocols, evacuation procedures, communication strategies, and the reunification process.
