Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School Committee Meeting Minutes
The committee discussed the MCAS and Accountability report, presented at a high level with plans for deeper school-specific reviews in future meetings. Members voted to adopt the updated CTE Recruitment, Admissions, and Retention Policy and Middle School Pathway Exploration Policy. The Director of Finance and Operations provided an overview of federal entitlement grants and audit recommendations, including the need for better coordination between the grants and business offices. Reports were shared regarding the M.E. Small Elementary feasibility study, potential facility projects in Dennis, and the successful grand opening of the new Station Avenue Elementary School playground. The meeting also included recognition of the D-Y Girls Field Hockey team as state champions and the welcoming of a new committee member.
