This initial Distribution Plan for the Talbot County Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund outlines the allocation of adult-use cannabis tax revenue to community-based initiatives in disproportionately impacted and low-income areas. It focuses on addressing the consequences of justice-system involvement and proposes three initial priority areas: Economic Stability and Mobility, Housing Stability, and Child Development and Educational Opportunity. The plan aims to guide CRRF investment to improve these conditions and will evolve through ongoing community engagement and learning.
The meeting focused on the election director's report, including updates on voter registration, voting equipment maintenance, and candidate information.
