The Consolidated School District of Aiken County Board of Education Regular Session
The board reviewed various informational items, including status reports for several school construction projects such as the Aiken High School James Taylor Gymnasium, Graniteville Elementary renovations, Ridge Spring-Monetta Middle/High additions, and the Silver Bluff High football stadium. Reports were also presented regarding sole source, emergency, and minority purchases for the prior fiscal year. Consent items included the acceptance of a donation to Ridge Spring-Monetta High School, a request to admit a foreign exchange student, and the approval of the GMP and construction budget for the Midland Valley High addition project. The Superintendent provided updates on Waterford Early Learning, Saturday school, and camera installations, followed by an executive session addressing personnel issues and student appeals.
