The Commission discussed several agenda items, including the deferral of adopting officer job descriptions to a future meeting and a review of the Downtown Driggs historical walking tour progress, which is expected to have a soft launch by August and a hard launch in October. Updates were provided on the Certified Local Government Grant Program regarding the survey in Tetonia and Northern Teton Valley, as well as research updates concerning the preservation of the Cal Carrington cabin and historical details regarding the Seymour home in Driggs. Future agenda items were identified, such as recruiting new members and the restoration of a sold theater/garage property in Victor.

The commission discussed various historic preservation projects, including research on interpretive panels for Treasure Mountain Camp and updates on upcoming CAMP training. Progress was reported on the Driggs-Victor and Tetonia area reconnaissance-level surveys, including status on consultant contracts and local funding needs. Commissioners also shared research updates regarding early settlers of the Seymour home, the origins of the Mike Harris campground name, and ongoing efforts to contact the owner of the Cal Carrington house for a potential preservation project. Additionally, the commission planned to develop job descriptions for its officers.

The Board addressed a variety of administrative, infrastructure, and development items. Key discussions included the approval of various financial reports, contracts, and resolutions, such as the claims report, payroll forms, credit card processing, and document destruction. Infrastructure and facility matters included authorization for annexation renovations, approval of an asphalt contract, and the fairgrounds water and sewer application. Development and zoning matters involved a public hearing for a substation, a land development code amendment, and the approval of subdivision plat amendments and development agreement extensions. Additionally, the Board discussed dispatch funding, waterway recreation fund reallocation, and temporary polling location agreements. Several items were also discussed in executive sessions.

The Commission addressed several items during the public hearing. They recommended approval of the MT Nord Subdivision preliminary plat application, including specified conditions. A wetland variance request for 2020 Teton River LLC was continued to a future date for more information regarding site plans. The Commission discussed proposed Land Development Code amendments related to guest and dude ranch uses, ultimately continuing the deliberation to a subsequent work session. A site-specific zoning map amendment for Chris Wilson was recommended for approval to rezone three parcels to RN-5. Additionally, the Commission recommended approval of a site-specific zoning map amendment for Hansen Family Farms LLC to consolidate split zoning on a parcel to RN-5.

The Board of County Commissioners addressed several administrative and operational agenda items, including the approval of record destruction resolutions and payroll adjustments for Public Works staff. Key projects discussed and approved included a T-Mobile Hometown Grant for a fairground pavilion, a Special Levy Election for roads and bridges, the purchase of roll-off bins, and professional services for the Solid Waste Transfer Station project. Public hearings were held regarding plat amendments for local subdivisions, resulting in the approval of the Sweetwater Ranch substantial plat amendment and the Flag Ranch final plat, while the deliberation on another Sweetwater Ranch phase was continued. Additionally, the Board approved agreements for juvenile detention services, adopted a new probation policy manual, appointed officers to the Local Emergency Planning Committee, and finalized a Memorandum of Understanding for the Fair Board. Other business included establishing a C-PACE program, approving an agreement with the Soil Conservation District, and making appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Waterways Recreation Board.
