The plan prioritizes improvements to existing practices and new initiatives, with annual updates to address critical areas for district advancement.

The board discussed and approved several items, including PAT agreements, the classified salary schedule, the certified salary schedule, and the extra duty salary schedule. They also approved the engagement letter for the financial audit. Other topics included a lease for a postage machine, the possibility of a circus setting up on school grounds, student drug testing costs, a new mower, and a RootED Memorandum of Understanding. Maintenance updates covered groundskeeping, kitchen maintenance, and summer maintenance projects. Technology updates included Chromebook check-in and new laptops and desktops. The board also discussed the option of using Navigate to receive bids for building repairs.

The Wellsville-Middletown R-1 Board of Education convened for a reorganizational meeting. The agenda included certifying election results, administering the oath of office to newly elected members, and adjourning Sine Die. The new board then convened to elect a President and Vice-President. Additionally, a Board Treasurer and Secretary were appointed. The board also designated check signers and authorized the Board Secretary to manage all banking business for the District.
