The Board reviewed a compilation of policies derived from other educational institutions to serve as a guide for upcoming legislative processes. Additionally, a presentation was provided regarding the enabling legislation and its progress through the House and Senate.

The board discussed campus development including partnerships with the Corps of Engineers, plans for a meat processing center, and upcoming campus events. Curriculum additions were approved, including new courses and the academic calendar for the upcoming year. Departmental reports were reviewed covering the Education Center, recruitment, student services, human resources, and the Wellness Center. Additionally, the board initiated a discussion regarding a draft alcohol policy before deciding to table it for further information.
