Arlington Public Schools Board of Directors Study Session And Regular Meeting
The board held a study session and a regular meeting. The study session focused on a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) update, a review of Board-Superintendent operating principles and team goals for 2026-27, and a discussion regarding cell phone procedures. The regular meeting included a student presentation from the Arlington High School MedEagles, recognition of Orange Shirt Day, and consent agenda items covering budget and enrollment reports, personnel reports, warrants, a donation from the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, the Transitional Bilingual Instructional Program, travel requests, mental health counselor cooperative agreement renewals, and university cooperative agreements. New business involved reviewing legislative priorities for 2027 and the second reading and adoption of a substance abuse policy.
