This community-driven strategic plan for the Seminole County Fire Department focuses on ensuring the department meets or exceeds community demands over the next five years. Developed with extensive community and agency stakeholder input, the plan outlines strategic initiatives centered on Communications, Succession Planning, Recruitment and Retention, Community Interactions, Professional Development, Capital Resources, and Health and Safety. The overarching vision is to enhance life safety and community sustainability through high-quality emergency services, strong community partnerships, and effective prevention practices, fostered by an organizational culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
