The committee meeting focused on two primary topics: a discussion regarding district strategic planning and a review of the facilities assessment.

The committee reviewed January financial reports and discussed the potential use of MCoNet fiber. Several upcoming bid proposals were discussed, including pool resurfacing at Dow High, pea stone removal and mulch installation at Chestnut Hill and Siebert, and required drinking fountain demolition. The committee also covered the renewal processes for food service and audit services. Updates were provided on the Fast Ice building renovations, and the committee engaged in discussions regarding alternative programming, district strategic planning, and the facilities assessment.

The committee conducted a site visit to the band and choir classrooms at Northeast Middle School. The meeting further included presentations regarding the MPS music program and a report on student and family engagement activities conducted during January and February.

The committee reviewed December financials and discussed virtual alternative programming, facilities assessment, and district strategic planning. Additionally, the committee reviewed upcoming proposals regarding a sealcoating bid, the replacement of K-8 Chromebooks, and the purchase of box trucks for the Food Service department.
